This Centennial Banquet will be held at the historic Vox Theatre Event Space on Southwest Boulevard – about five minutes northeast of our church. A lovely event that will include a centennial video and program that look back on our past, appreciating what our founders and early members did to create a congregation that has been sharing the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ for over 100 years.
The Vox Theatre opened in December 1922 as the Rosedale Theatre, showing silent movies. In the early 1940s, it was renamed to Vox and was showing movies with sound. In 2009, work began to renovate it as an event space.
It is handicap-accessible and has around 150 parking spaces (some accessible spaces are marked, just outside the entrance). This building…
